The 1490 CC2 is the same as the CC1 except it has a "pick-n-pluck" foam base instead of a molded shock absorbing trey. You'll need to size the laptop compartment manually with an exacto knife(this flexibility can be handy when your laptop is on the larger end of the 15" scale).
